Job Description

• The Clinical Nursing Officer / Nurse Midwife will be responsible for:
• Conducting initial patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring.
• Performing physical examinations and developing nursing care plans.
• Providing nursing care for communicable and non-communicable health conditions.
• Carrying out therapeutic procedures such as wound dressing and administering medications.
• Assisting in pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal care.
• Collaborating with physicians and surgeons to manage acute and chronic illnesses.
• Setting up and monitoring drips and blood transfusions.
• Using medical equipment efficiently.
• Documenting patient progress and planning appropriate nursing interventions.
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
• Managing clinic operations and ensuring smooth client flow.
• Making informed decisions as part of a healthcare team.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM), or hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• At least five years of clinical experience.
• Computer literacy is essential.
