Fully Funded Master’s & PhD Opportunities in Agricultural Robotics and AI at LSU, USA



Louisiana State University (LSU), Baton Rouge, is now accepting applications for fully funded Master’s and PhD programs in Agricultural Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on Precision Agriculture.

These positions are open to candidates with academic backgrounds in Agricultural Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geography, Crop Science, or related disciplines—particularly those passionate about robotics, AI, automation, or smart farming technologies.

Program Highlights

Successful applicants will engage in advanced research on autonomous farming systems, machine learning and deep learning for crop analysis, remote sensing, computer vision, and sensor fusion technologies. The program will commence in Summer or Fall 2026.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and have hands-on experience in robotics or automation. Proficiency in Python, C++, or ROS, along with familiarity with machine learning tools, is essential. Strong communication and collaboration skills are also expected.
