🧠 Role Overview
As an Education Officer, you’ll contribute directly to UNICEF’s education programming in Nigeria, focusing on expanding access and improving learning outcomes. You’ll support the Education Section in planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of key education systems and interventions.
Your work will include:
Supporting programme planning and reporting – including research, analysis, and documentation.
Monitoring & evaluating project progress to ensure accountability and results.
Providing technical assistance and field support to partners and stakeholders.
Building relationships with government, NGOs, and donors to sustain education delivery.
Driving knowledge-sharing, innovation, and capacity building across education programmes.
🎯 Who Should Apply?
This role is ideal for someone with:
A degree in education, psychology, sociology, or related fields.
Professional experience in education programme planning or implementation.
Strong communication skills and familiarity with UN or international development contexts.
Fluency in English — and ideally additional languages.
