About the Role: State Program Officer
Tenure: 1-year contract (Renewable based on performance and funding)
Reports to: Program Manager, CIGROHD HQ, Abuja
Location: Sokoto, Zamfara, Kano, Nasarawa, or Edo (Applicants must be based in the state capital)
Key Responsibilities
Hybrid Work Approach (10%) – Combine remote and field-based activities to ensure effective program execution.
Network Registration & Engagement (20%) – Register CIGROHD with key Health, Agriculture, and Governance networks within two months. Attend sectoral meetings and submit timely reports.
Proposal Development & Fundraising (30%) – Collaborate with HQ on proposal writing and donor funding opportunities.
Reporting & Compliance (10%) – Submit monthly activity reports and attend weekly virtual meetings.
Workplan Development & Execution (10%) – Develop and execute monthly and weekly work plans with detailed documentation.
State Profiling & Analysis (20%) – Conduct an in-depth assessment of the state's health, education, agriculture, and governance structures, providing strategic recommendations.
Who Should Apply?
Educational Background: A first degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field.
Experience: Prior experience in NGO work, community engagement, and proposal writing.
Skills: Strong networking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency in report writing and data analysis.
