About the Program 

The National Skills (N-SKILLS) programme is the National Vocational Training Foundation's flagship effort, co-funded by the World Bank and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). 

The National Vocational Training Foundation is the programme's implementation partner, in charge of overseeing its execution. As a talent incubator, the N-SKILLS project strives to improve Nigerians' employability by providing vocational training in a variety of skills that is conveniently located near their homes.

The program provides a comprehensive 12-month paid stipend during training and industrial training at commercial and public sector institutions countrywide. The N-SKILLS program is developed as a scalable methodology to help Nigerians make a transformative and impactful shift from poverty and unemployment to learning and earning opportunities. This paradigm shift is projected to greatly enhance their lives while also providing beneficial economic results. 

By bridging the skills gap and encouraging employment, the N-SKILLS initiative helps to the country's socioeconomic development The NVTF also works with state governments to develop vocational training centers, industries, and workshops to boost economic growth and give trainees hands-on experience. Skill Acquisition: Top-notch vocational and technical training in various fields.

1. Stipend Support: Monthly stipend of #100,000 the 12-month training and internship period.
2. Internship Opportunities: Practical experience through internships after training.
3. Job Placement: Collaboration with the Organized Private Sector (OPS) and government for job placements.
4. Entrepreneurship Support: Mentorship and resources for entrepreneurial graduates.

Eligibility: 

1. Must be a Nigerian citizens  
2. Aged 18 to 35.
3. Minimum secondary school certificate (SSCE or equivalent).
4. Interest in vocational and technical training.
5. Commitment to the 12-month program.
6. Must obtain National Identification Number (NIN)

Method of ApplicationOnline Application: 

Document Submission: Upload identification, academic qualifications, and personal statement.

Screening Process: Assessment and interviews for shortlisted candidates.

Notification: Email or SMS notifications for successful applicants.

Orientation: Orientation before program commencement.
